Too hot temperature of disk - HP Compaq nc6220

Could you elaborate a little bit more
on possible hardware failure?
Output of "sysctl hw.acpi" et alia.
If you are sure that box is healthy,
would you include "cpufreq", recompile
and post temperatures?

Does this laptop have bios options for
temp regulation? Any changes in conf?
Note in /var/log/messages? Acpi or apm?
