FreeBSD on the Lenovo Thinkpad X60

I have written a text on how I installed FreeBSD 6.1 (and NetBSD and
Ubuntu GNU/Linux) on a Thinkpad X60 with a PXE network install. Perhaps
it can be of use for someone else besides me.

If someone can explain the strange network latency I see on em(4),
