fbsd wont boot on hp laptop :(

1) Read the handbook /The FreeBSD handbook) about acpi.
2) Try the following quick fixes, one at a time:
- boot with apic (note that this is APIC) disabled
- boot with acpi (ACPI, not apic) disabled

and see if that helps.
