Does this problem occured before you applied my patch with
hw.psm.synaptics_support enabled? If it was working, could you try just
the first patch, please:

For this last problem, you may try to reduce
hw.psm.synaptics.taphold_timeout sysctl to something like 150000 or
100000 (this number is in millisecond). I don't know if this suggestion
can fix kmail-not-accepting-clicks issue but I currently have no other
idea :)
