I didn't read this thread from the beginning but I do not have any of this 
problems at all using as /dev/psm0 in xorg (synaptics enabled in loader)

I have an acer 3000 NB

my problem is that I can not drag, anything else is pretty nice as click, 
double click, hor and vert scroll with the extra buttons

so I use it as normal psm device but then the extra buttons are not working at 
all

do you know anything about the not dragging problem?
