I have been thinking about that aspect - and I will try to add 
'radeondrm' to the kernel.
I anyway have to recompile my kernel, then I bought a D-Link DWL-G650 
pccard as extra wireless interface (I removed at an earlier point 'ath' 
from the kernel)...
