Reattach/redetect allways connected umass device - is it possible ?

The one that I have (Sony MS-AC1) acts like a true USB hub.  You eject
the Memory Stick brand recordable medium and uhubN reports a child
gone.  (It works exactly the same if you use the camera's USB
connection.)  Perhaps Sony is the outlier here.
