It seems to me that FreeBSD-5.4 has not only problems
with the 3c575C card attached to my Compaq Armada 1750.
I also tried out a D-Link DFE-690TXD network card on this
notebook, again without success. At work both cards work
fine on an Acer TravelMate 630 notebook and FreeBSD-5.4!
