acpi_video, 5.3-RELEASE, ThinkPad X31?

On my T30 I needed to add jhb's acpi_video_dpms patch and put:
hw.acpi.reset_video=0
hw.syscons.no_suspend_vtyswitch=1
hw.pci.do_powerstate=1
into /etc/sysctl.conf

That is the only way I found to get the backlight to turn off. (I do
have acpi_video loaded, but it only seems to report on the video. I
can't sert anything.)
