Yes, here it is:
Booting from FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE instalation CD:
- With ACPI enabled:
<...>
acpi0: <AMIInst SiS740XX> on motherboard
pci_open(1): mode 1 addr port(0x0cf8) is 0xff001047
pci_open(2): mode 2 enable port(0cf8) is 0xff
panic: AcpiOsDerivePciId unable to initialize pci bus
cpuid = 0;
Uptime: 1s
(Auto reboot request)
Also, here is the messagem from dmesg when booting with ACPI disabled, in this situation "pciconf -lv" returns no data.
<...>
vga0: <Generic ISA VGA> at port 0x3c0-0x3df iomem 0xa0000-0xbffff on isa0
unknown: <PNP0303> can't assign resources (port)
unknown: <PNP0510> can't assign resources (port)
unknown: <PNP0f13> can't assign resources (irq)
<...>
I guess these are the important error messages. Maybe I can put some manual addressing on loader.conf, perhaps... But I have no idea what would be the proper entries.
I tried installing 4.10-RELEASE, I had no success either, however, I didn't check the error messages to see if they differ.
Any idea you have will be really welcome. Also, if you need anything else please ask.
Thanks again,
Marcos.
