Orinoco Gold and Linksys AP

Is orinoco and Linksys working in windows on 11Mbps too? Strange, I
thought they are not compatible and works on 2Mbps or less only. And
one more question to claer the air: is ifconfig wi0 shows the same
when u powering off Linksys AP?
