Just saw the answer from my own post.
wi0: Intersil Firmware: Primary 1.00.07, Station 1.03.06

I've read the upgrading of Intersil firmware at
http://linux.junsun.net/intersil-prism/. It mentions here that primary and
station firmware should not be partnered with other versions. I would like
to upgrade mine to fix the sporadic behavior.
Can someone share their own experience when they did the firmware upgrade?
What version of firmware you installed? I'm planning of using 1.7.4.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
