COMING ATTRACTIONS
The Actius RD3D notebook computer from Sharp Systems of America (Huntington
Beach, CA) has been named NTB's February Product of the Month. The computer
incorporates TFT 3D LCD technology, enabling users to view 3D images with
the naked eye. The touch of a button switches the display panel between 2D
and 3D display modes. Features include a 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor
and the NVIDIA GeForce 4 440 Go graphic processing unit. Applications range
from engineering/CAD to remote sensing, life sciences, medical imaging, oil
and gas, and other design applications.
