XFree86 & ACPI don't like each other?

DOH!  Just after sending, I left X and went back in. It froze.  Had to
power cycle to get the ThinkPad T22 going again.  FWIW, since moving to a
non-SMP kernel some weeks ago, I've not had that happen.
