XFree86 on Toshiba Tecra M1

Actually, I'm finding out that after running X in 8bit VESA mode for a while
that I get a nasty
freeze when I try to log off (after running in locked screensaver mode). The
machine locks up
so bad, it has to be power-cycled. Not good.

I have a pressario laptop with a Cyberblade i1 which has a nasty freeze running
X. Will try 8bit VESA to verfiy this is causing the freeze.
Could some-one give me a pointer to that Trident driver info/problem so I don't
have to bug the list.
Thanks.
