UPDATE! I got the sound working.

I just happened to bump into this page:

When I was searching for 'FreeBSD 82801CA/CAM' (82801CA/CAM is the
model of the intel sound chipset) on google. He explains on that
page that I might need to enable 'options PCI_ENABLE_IO_MODES' in
my kernel to get it working.

It worked! Woo! Now... about that APM stuff....
