Hi,
I'm trying do install freebsd since 5.1 release (then 5.2 beta, 5.2 rc1 and
now 5.2 rc2) in this toshiba notebook and it hangs during boot. I don't have
a serial port, but copied by hand the last thing found before it hangs
(tried with the regular boot, acpi disabled and the verbose option, and it
always hangs):
--------------------
pcib0: matched entry for 0.2.INTA (source \_SB_.LNKA)
pcib0: slot 2 INTA is routed to irq 10
found-> vendor=0x8086, dev=0x3582, revid=0x01
bus=0, slot=2, func=0
class=03-00-00, hdrtype=0x00, mfdev=1
cmdreg=0x0007, statreg=0x0090, cachelnsz=0 (dwords)
lattimes=0x00 (0 ns), mingnt=0x00 (0 ns), maxlat=0x00 (0 ns)
intpin=a, irq=10
powerspec 1 supports D0 D1 D3 current D0
map[10]: type 3, range 32, base 00000000, size 27, memory disabled
f

that "f" is the last thing that appears on the screen, like if it was
starting to find the next device, but stops right there...
I tried to install 4.9 in the second primary partition that starts in the
cylinder 1020. 4.9 boots, but says that it can't install the root partition
there. Anyway, I would like to have 5.2 installed here, 4.9 was just a test.
The notebook specs can be found here:

Any ideas?
Alvaro
