Done. Still have the same problem. Just so you can see, this is my
console after exiting from X:
'&^^^_$ !&$'&%^^^_ !&%$^^^_ &'!$^^^_&'$ !&'%^^^
_$9 &'%^_$ !9&^^^_' &%$!9'&^^%^_$ !'&9^^^_'
& %$!9'&^^^_9 $!'&%$^^^_ !9^^^_ !910:15am ghast
/home/jamie %'&$ !'&$ !&$'&% !'&$ !'&$ !&$'&% !&%$ &''&$ !'&$ !&$'&% !'&$
!'&$ !
&$'&% !&%$ &'X&'$ X&'$ !&'%$9 9 &'%%%%%%%%%$ !9 &'%%%%%%%%%$ !9&'''''''''
&%9&''
''''''' &%$!9'&%%%%%%%%%$ !9'&%%%%%%%%%$ !'&9'& %9'& %$!9'&9 $!9
$!'&%$$$$$$$$$
!9 $!'&%$$$$$$$$$ !9 ls
Once I hit return to get a prompt back everything works fine, I'm just not
sure why X is buffering the kbd input and then dumping it to command line
upon exit.
