hostap & 802.1x support

Hello,

I've dug thru the web regarding informations about *bsd authenticator
capabilities in hostap mode.

I've only found this mail (*) from the hostapd list hosted at schmoo
where Sam Leffler states he's working on the new wlan infrastructure and
thinking about extended 802.11 support.

Do this support include 802.1x authenticator support ?
