Device ed1 (D-Link DFE-670TXD) has an invisible "interface"?

I have used this card and can vouch that you're not -supposed- to have media 
or carrier information.  Evidently the driver doesn't support it.
Also, it works here.

I note you're running IP Filter.  This is likely the culprit; check your 
ruleset.
