Hello,
I'm looking for a FreeBSD consultant for a one-time contract job,
paid, to do remote ssh-upgrade of jailed systems. Currently the base
system is running 12.2-RELEASE while the jails are running 12.1-series
and a mixture of qjail-patched and /etc/jail.conf jails, three total
all qjail.
The goal is to install new jails, using /etc/jail.conf file,
eliminating the patched qjail entirely, and set them to the same BSD
version as on the host 12.2.
I am also needing a backup of existing database (Mysql 5.x), email
(postfix, dovecot, rspamd), and web server (apache 2.4 php 7.4) jails
again all on qjail and restore to new jails on /etc/jail.conf
configuration.
I would also like existing configuration files placed under git
version control (already have that set up) and new configurations also
added to git.
I have the experience and knowledge to do all this myself as I
initially set up these servers what I don't have right now is either a
large budget or good mental fortitude. I just had to pay for
electrical work on the house and we just had a cat get out, the house
meaning my gf and I are extremely upset and concentration is not very
high on my todo list.
If interested please write me privately.
Thanks.
Dave.
