Mintel International Group, bases at Barbican, Central London are
currently looking for a UNIX (Linux / FreeBSD) Systems Administrator to
help support our Global Network Operations.

You will be part of a growing team of 10 people supporting a global
network of over 150 servers spread across 6 locations on 4 continents.

Required skills / knowledge:

·    Linux LPI Level 1 accreditation or similar
·    Familiar with Linux (or other Unix) on desktop and server
·    Familiar with at least the following services:  ssh, smtp, DNS
·    Excellent understanding of IP Networking
·    Good communication skills written/vocal
·    Good understanding of Wired and Wireless networking
·    Basic programming/scripting skills

Familiarity with the following definitely advantageous:

·    CFEngine
·    MySQL Administration
·    FreeBSD/OpenBSD/NetBSD.....
·    Postfix Mail Server
·    OSPF/BGP Routing Protocols
·    Bind DNS Server
·    OpenLDAP Server
·    Spanning Tree
·    Virtual Ethernet Networks
·    Windows networking and Active Directory
·    Perl/PHP/Bash/csh scripting

Pay scale would be upto £30,000 depending on experience.
