Your change was merged.  Kohsuke Kawaguchi (lead Jenkins developer) built
a new version of akuma with this change.

Kohsuke then merged this change which I submitted to the Jenkins core to
use the new akuma:
https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/1770

So one of the next Jenkins releases will have your change which improves
Jenkins restarting under FreeBSD after updating plugins.
