I do not believe that a compile log will be required. Was the build of
JDK done before the gcc compiler update (about 2004/07/28)? If so, then
the JDK will need to be rebuilt (along with any other software installed
before the gcc update). If this doesn't solve your problem I'm out of
ideas.
