Sorry for the false alarm. 

Cannot reproduce with appletviewer so I guessed that it must be a
browser/plugin issue.

It ended up being that Mozilla Firebird 0.7 does not work with ns610 but
does work totally fine with ns600 libjavaplugin_oji.so.
