>Description:
burncd locks up often with bad CD's upon fixating.
it locks up so bad that the process can't be killed, and the
CDRW device remains 'busy' until the machine is rebooted:

                abc 29431 0.0 0.2 880 404 p3- DL Thu09PM 0:00.00
                burncd -f /dev/cdrom -s max data /tmp/cd9660.iso fixate

                29431 abc -6 0 880K 404K physst 0:00 0.00% 0.00% burncd

i have tried 3 CDRW drives, and they all do this.
these are some of the errors that get generated:

                acd0: CD-RW <Memorex 52MAXX 3252AJ1> at ata1-master PIO4
                cd9660: RockRidge Extension
                acd0: TEST_UNIT_READY - MEDIUM ERROR asc=0x73 ascq=0x03 error=0x00
                acd0: TEST_UNIT_READY - MEDIUM ERROR asc=0x51 ascq=0x00 error=0x00
                acd0: SEND_OPC_INFO command timeout - resetting
                acd0: WRITE_BIG command timeout - resetting

>How-To-Repeat:
load a bad/unwritable CD into an ATA CDRW, and write/fixate.
it isn't completely consistent, may require a few attempts.
>Fix:
don't know.
