i386/72960: BTX halted with Promise Tx2000 Raid

 I'm also experiencing the identical symptoms.  I have a Tyan 230T BIOS 
 v1.09, and a PCI card TX2000 BIOS v2.00.0.33.  I'm booting from the 
 5.3-RC1 cd.  My drives are mirrored.
