IMPACT: FreeBSD5.2RC2 essentially uninstallable using the CD under the aforementioned environment.  This problem exists for FreeBSD 5.1 Release CD as well (boot messages may vary).

Obtain and verify good a FreeBSD 5.2RC2 CD.  Replicate environment (unsure if partitioning scheme is relevant).  Attempt to install FreeBSD 5.2RC2.
