Looks like something has changed.
traceroute is now ok (no more no route to host error ) but the rsync
daemon has not been restarted yet :

% telnet -4 -s 88.191.250.131  ftp-master.FreeBSD.org 873
Trying 8.8.178.68...
telnet: connect to address 8.8.178.68: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host
