Thanks a lot, I'm currently using:
/pub/FreeBSD/ports/$ARCH/packages-$BRANCH/Latest
for the PACKAGESITE logic.

I don't know what to make of this, yet. But I think this might
turn out to be useful information.

I never intended probing in my architecture. It will cause me
some headaches, but I think I will have to add it.

Does sysinstall support http, too? I'd expect it to if it uses
fetch(3).

Any way, I think I have to write a script to discern the magnitude
of the issue.
