rsync or cvsup?

CVSup - rsync is only used for legacy connections and is highly 
discouraged (I was told when I set up cvsup4.us that each rsync 
connection takes over 100M in RAM)  I believe that ftp-master is  
limited to 1 concurrent rsync connection just for that reason.
