An easy first step would be if we make a little list of people  
(together with a list of languages each one speaks) somewhere (in the  
wiki?), which are willing to help people get up to speed. Some of the  
stuff is probably easy to answer, may even be something to be asked on  
the lists but people being either shy of asking those question in a  
public area or fearing the language barrier.

Basically this is an extension to the FreeBSD office hours idea in the  
personal instead of town-hall direction (and no matter which kind of  
communication medium)...

Some questions which come up often can then be answered in the wiki  
too (in multiple languages) and then we can integrate them into the  
handbook (I think this was the direction the idea of Deb was going,  
have some topics on the website to click on and get the info).
