Correct.

Not correct. The MacOS kernel is derived from Mach, not FreeBSD.
The MacOS userland is mostly derived from FreeBSD, but includes tools
from the other BSDs, and the current direction is to mimic the Linux
userland (i.e. /bin/sh is bash).
