FWIW:
I spoke with some folks on a gnucash channel. They ran a trace for me
on gnucash, and it only attempted to load files 17 times or so. Each
time it loaded a file it hung onto it. Sounds like the 'close' is not
releasing the library like it does on fbsd. Which is how it 'should' work.
