I think I found a way to duplicate this problem with a "working"
USB keyboard. I have a Memorex MX2710 that I have never had
any problems with on FreeBSD. If I:
1. Hold down left control and left shift on the keyboard
2. Unplug the keyboard from the running system
3. Release left control and left shift
4. Plug the keyboard back in
...I seem to have similar issues (hitting d sends ctrl-D, etc.).
I'm running 6.2 prerelease from October 29.
