As a 1st step, we can do something like this:

.if ${_COMPILER_ARGS:Mopenmp} && ${ARCH} != amd64
.if ${COMPILER_TYPE} == clang
USE_GCC=        yes
CHOSEN_COMPILER_TYPE=   gcc
.endif
.endif
