What config changes did you have to make when setting up virtual_oss? I have
tried the virtual_oss route (both simply running it from the CLI & the rc
script) and I get similar behavior as before.

What I tried:

virtual_oss -C2 -c2 -r 96000 -b 24 -s 768 -R /dev/null -P /dev/dsp7.4 -d dsp
