Same error for version 1.6.1 while building with portmaster or by command
 $ sudo MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE=yes make -C /usr/ports/sysutils/tracker all

All options are default.

 $ uname -a
FreeBSD vovaasus 10.3-STABLE FreeBSD 10.3-STABLE #13 r298770: Sun May  1
15:16:58 EEST 2016     root at vovaasus:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  amd64

Interestingly, no problem with
 $ sudo nice time synth test sysutils/tracker
