Is DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS environment variable set correctly? If it is not
set, is the information stored in ~/.dbus/session-bus/<machine_id>-0 correct?
You can use 'sockstat' command to find the process that creates the socket
file. The process should be a session dbus-daemon run with your uid.
