use webkit-gtk3 port instead of webkit-gtk2

How can I specify in /etc/make.conf the preferred gtk version/port? Currently
both webkit-gtk2 AND webkit-gtk3 get built and installed. I don't think
there is need for both of them? how can I override the port version?
