FreeBSD Port: graphics/gimp-app

Dear Sirs,

I know that a question about GIMP 2.8 was ask many times but I like to know if 
you are planning to have GIMP 2.8 which I use on Live Linux CD from May 2012 
in ports. For what I use is much better than 2.6. If you have a problem or it 
is not possible than is time to switch from FreeBSD to Linux.
