As I said in my email, these kind of problems are typical due to the
code rot in system-tools-backends when it comes to FreeBSD.  That code
is written in Perl.

If anyone on this list has tried to use the Administration tools in
GNOME, and ran into problems, please post the specifics so a scope of
work can be collected.
