System: FreeBSD aldan.algebra.com 7.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 7.1-PRERELEASE #0: Tue Sep 23 22:18:03 EDT 2008 ... amd64

>Description:

All images, which are embedded in a web-page, which
Firefox3 had to resize (because the originals are larger)
appear either fully black or mostly corrupted.

DrudgeReport.com, apparently, relies on the browser resizing
the images a lot -- here is the snapshot of the window, so
you can see, what I'm talking about:

		http://aldan.algebra.com/~mi/tmp/black-images.png

Even if part of an image appears properly, scrolling down
in the window promptly replaces each picture with a black
	rectangle...

I wonder, if this is due to some local misconfiguration here,
or if that's because I have amd64 and there is a bug in ff
	somewhere (or Gnome?)...

>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
	Go back to firefox-2.x
