The LANG variable is correct (i check this a lot of times), but the
"Terminal > Set Character Encoding..."... Is a menu option of
gnome-terminal?
And, finally (is evident that I have a long time without gnome) the
Keyboard Capplet's Layout... Is in the "System" menu, right?
