libvoume_id is current, but what does pkg_info report about hal?  That
Unbuntu bug you found may be applicable here, but it could very well be
something else.  Try patching libvolume_id with the patch in the Unbuntu
bug.  If that doesn't work, I'll get you a debug version to test.
