Is D-Bus running? That reads like Gnome stuff is trying to use D-Bus
but for whatever reason it cannot.
---------------------------------
D-Bus seems to be running:
$ ps ax|grep dbus
6856 ?? Is 0:00.01 dbus-daemon --fork --print-address 23 --print-pid 25
6861 ?? I 0:00.00 dbus-launch --autolaunch 556807661c6a8b1e2e0306004623
6862 ?? Is 0:00.00 /usr/local/bin/dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 6 --pri
And also top output:
$top
