Joe,
Thanks for the quick commit and for both cleaning up my C and catching
the several wireless interfaces not in GENERIC that I missed.
It's nice to have my laptop come up with the functioning interface
selected instead of loopback. (That's the main reason I looked at the
code. The icon stuff was secondary.)
