Those as well as read everything in my announcement email as well as in
the Devel FAQ _very carefully_.

If you re-read my announcement email, you will see where I address the
issue of "development." GNOME 2.12 work is being done in the MC repo,
ports module until it is merged into the FreeBSD ports tree. At that
time, the ports module will resume its "development" status, and people
not wishing to track development code should stop merging the MC repo.
