Hello,
On my system I'm using Gnome 2.8.1 with FreeBSD 5.3 STABLE. The
CDROM-drive is connected to an SCSI-Bus. The permissions are set
correct:
> ll /dev/cd0
crw-rw---- 1 root users 4, 12 29 Jan 14:11 /dev/cd0
My user-account belongs to the group "users"
When I start gnome-cd from the "gnomemedia2-2.8.0_2"-package I get the
following message on command-line:
** (gnome-cd:1198): WARNING **: Error getting leadout
In the log-file /var/log/messages the following entries are listet:
Jan 29 14:34:26 primergy470 kernel: (cd0:sym1:0:5:0): READ SUB-CHANNEL.
CDB: 42 2 40 1 0 0 a 0 18 0

Condition

CDB
Jan 29 14:34:26 primergy470 kernel: (cd0:sym1:0:5:0): Unretryable error
What's going on there? How can I solve this?
Google wasn't a real help because some people were only talking about
the problem but anybody didn't show a solution.
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards
Jürgen
