Help needed: strange problem with galeon's myportal

When I updated Xorg two days ago, I accidently noticed that libpng was
updated to v. 1.2.8. Since Galeon's myportal uses PNGs, this sounds
suspicous.

Could you please verify whether other PNG images work in Galeon and/or
Mozilla?
